The Extremely Nosy Britmums Questionnaire

Not content with the Meet and Greet, this year with a new name and two whole days of blogging related excitement, there is a new Meme linky wotnot doing the rounds- The Extremely Nosy Britmums Questionnaire.

I was tagged by Kate from Kateonthinice (who is a lovely lady and charity goddess over at Britmums), and I was half tempted to vlog it, but I have spots at the minute so thought I'd better not scare the masses.
Meme Rules are surprisingly simple… Copy the nosey questions, and paste them within your own post, followed by your own answers. Then if you can find anyone who hasn't succumbed yet,  tag another 2-4 bloggers to do the same (alerting them to the meme), making sure they're actually attending first. Once complete link your completed Meme to the Linky in this post (don’t forget to share rules with your tagged few, giving them this URL for the Linky). This way we can keep track of the answers and importantly who’s tagged. Please link to, and state the creator as A boy with Aspergers. We’re off!
Q: What’s your blog title/URL and how long have you been blogging?
Which one- I have three! This one is The Lazy Girl's Guide to Life, which was the 20somethingmum, but before it was here as that it was on Myspace as Claire the Girl Blogger (I know, how crap was that title?) from 2006 (BC-Before Children). I moved here in June 2009. I also have the Family Panel Reviews, which I've run single handed since January 2010 but now have a team (relaunching on 15th March), Finally we have the baby project, The Lazy Girl's Guide to Cooking, which is just a bit of fun really. That started in July last year.
Q: Will Britmums Live be your First blogging conference?
No! I'm so old I remember it at Earls Court when there was 100 of us nervously creeping round, with home made business cards and no idea of who anyone was. I went to both Cybermummys, so am looking forward to Britmums Live.
Q: Did you bag yourself a sponsor?
Its me- I've been known as "The Blogger who got other bloggers sponsored pants". I'm sponsored this year by The Book Club
Q: What are you most looking forward to about the conference?
Actually going to seminars this year and learning stuff. Meeting Ruby Wax. Catching up with Cherry Healey. And meeting bloggers old and new.
Q: Are you wearing Branded Clothing ( you’re sponsors brand)?
Nope. Unless "bought by Other Half's credit card without him possibly knowing about it" counts? Although if anyone wants to hook me up...
Q: What is your planned style for this event?
Casual all the way, as usual. I even have a Pinterest board for bits and bobs which catch my eye. I'm into my slogan tees at the moment, so possibly something from Junk Food or Famous Forever. I have a fave at the moment by Gio Goi which says "The Whole World is Your Playground" which I like. So, think slogan tees, jeans, flip flops, lots of accessories and a nice handbag.
Q: Are you hoping to be nominated for a BiB award?
Yeah, course. But if not, I shall shrug my shoulders and move on. I don't strictly see awards or lists as "serious". I'm famous in my own living room if you know what I mean. Its all a bit of fun and I really wish people would treat them as such. And keep blogging regardless!
Q: If so what category?
I really don't mind as long as its not a tech geek one. Let's not go there.
Q: Will you be looking to network with Brands?
I have my business cards (ones I haven't made myself these days), so yeah. I'm hoping my new little team for Family Panel will stick together and learn a bit from me so they can go out and be brave with sorting reviews. I am looking for advertising nowadays. Or a book deal for Lazy Cooks! If I bring any more toys into the house Elder will probably leave me. I'm looking to further beauty and fashion reviewing, as I'm probably the most pants at girlie stuff- my USP- as then if I can get it right with a beauty product, anyone can!
Q: What do u hope to walk away having gained from the conference?
Proving I'm not a menace to society and only get passionate about things I believe in-I'm approachable so please come say hi!
Q: Will you be dressing up in the toilets for the Friday night BiBs?
Yep! Of course. God knows what in, but yes glam I shall be. Or attempt in a slightly flustered, cack handed way.
Q: Are you speaking at the conference and if so when, where and how do you feel about doing so?
I would have loved to have been. Alas I wasn't asked! I think people are worried I may be a bit too, erm, direct? But yeah, I'd have really liked to!
Q: Will you be joining in the early morning bloggercise on the Saturday?
Yeah, not likely. I'm going to be nursing a hangover and wearing my DKNY's indoors, celeb style to protect my eyes and not scare small children.
Q: What speakers are you most looking forward to listening to?
I love Ruby Wax, want to hear Allison Pearson (I loved her book!). They'll all rock, I'm sure.
Q: What workshops will you be attending on the Friday (Day 1)
Getting Published. I think its the logical next step for me, writing wise. And I think Lazy Cooks is the one.
Q: What Workshops being held on the Saturday (Day 2) have grabbed your attention?
Making cash from my writing. Heaven knows I could do with making money from it- its like a full time job!
Q: Are u booked into a hotel for the Friday night, if yes which one?
Not as yet, but will be.
Q: Will you be looking for after party drinks
Yes- its a night off from The Bratlings. That and I've had enough of seeing the Nephew's after photos of night life in London.
Q: Are u worried about not knowing anyone or being confident and socialising on the day?
Nope. It never phases me at all. I can't wait to see everyone actually
Q: What’s are you most likely to be found doing while attending Britmums Live?
Smirking into my phone at tweets. Chatting utter rubbish to bloggers whilst drinking Gin in the evening. Consoling those who don't win a BiB and are still new enough to consider all the awards and lists and things as blogging life and death. Giving hugs. Trying not to get all broody if there are babies there again (I had to ban sex in my house after last year). Not having to hot foot it across London back home as I've organised a party for my anniversary.
