Summers Here! Halluehjah!

Oh yes!

The sun has well and truly got his hat on, and has decided to finally set up home in the skies above our little Country. Or continent, not quite sure what we are, despite my B in GCSE Geography!

And in our house, we definitely thrive off summer,

The double doors swing open onto the back garden, the trampoline is dusted down from its position on the side of the shed, and the stereo is loaded with the top infinite number of tunes that are needed to make the soundtrack to the season.

The kids seem to prefer it too, they have the freedom to come and go from indoors to outside in the garden, or in their little tent, and Beebies finally takes a rest. In fact the only time the TV has been on has been for the snooker or for Glee, and Ashes to Ashes.

At the moment, everyone seems to be asking for Spotify related inspiration, although its not something I've discovered yet personally due to the media player being rammed and my phone being a mobile jukebox anyway. Oh that and the most up to date Ipod variation I have is a Sony Tape Walkman in fetching cream and orange, given to me by my Nan in about 1994. And they don't take to Computers well!

So, my being Miss Mobile Music Encyclopedia, I have to give my opinion, and also love that when other people suggest a band or singer I like to look them up.

Latest discovery is the amazingly good Plan B- a London guy who not only writes and produces his own stuff, but sings like an angel and raps like a rude boy too. Simply amazing, check out his last album Who Needs Actions When You got Words, based on his experience of growing up in London, or the newest offering The Defamation of Strickland Banks which this multi-talented artist plans to transform into a film he's penned himself.

So, hope you're all enjoying the sunshine, long may it continue, God knows after the awful weather we had at the start of this year we deserve it!
